A highly collectible vintage bottling from the historic Speyside distillery The Macallan. This bottle was distilled in 1957 and matured in sherry casks, representing the classic production style that built Macallan’s reputation among collectors and connoisseurs.
The whisky is presented in its original vintage carton, marked “Over 15 Years Old”, a format typical of Macallan releases bottled during the mid-20th century. Bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV) with a 75 cl volume, this example was bottled by Campbell, Hope & King, Elgin, an important historic bottler connected to Macallan distribution during that era.
The bottle shows excellent preservation for its age. The fill level remains high in the neck, the label is well preserved, and the original Italian import label is still present. The capsule and tax seal remain intact, confirming that the bottle has never been opened. The carton also remains in good vintage condition with normal signs of age.
This is a rare early Macallan sherry-matured bottling, highly desirable for collectors of pre-1970 Macallan releases and historic Scotch whisky.
